TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Ross warrants defective-free products for a period of 2 years for the original purchaser. Ross products are further warranted as to adequacy of design, provided products are properly specified and installed. This warranty does not apply in the event products are altered in any way or are improperly installed. Liability is limited to replacement of products proven to be defective. Should any manufacturing defect occur during the 2-year period of the original purchaser (and as long as the original purchaser is still living and retains ownership of the property). Ross will provide replacement material for that portion of the product deemed to be defective (not including labor costs incurred in removing defective product or installing replacement product). Proper documentation of date of installation and purchase must accompany any claims for warranty.
Ross has made no other warranty, express or implied, regarding its products, including but not limited to, any warranty regarding merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose. Any claim that a product is defective must be brought within 1 month of the date of installation of such products to the original purchaser. Customer hereby agrees that no other incidental or consequential damages are the responsibility of Ross. Any litigation regarding Ross products must be brought in Comal County, Texas, and Texas law shall apply. In the event of replacement according to the terms of this warranty, the original warranty on the replacement material will extend for the balance of the warranty period in effect at the time the vent proved defective. The 2-year coverage offered by this warranty automatically ends upon the sale of the property or death of the last of the original owners of the property at the time of installation.
Responsibility remains with the architect or engineer, contractor, and owner for the design, application and proper installation of each Ross product. Specifier and user shall determine the suitability of products for specific application and assume all responsibilities in connection there within.
The PVC Ross buys is an industry-standard, rigid, durable, chemically resistant product designed for outdoor weather ability. While the PVC is paintable, we cannot know what may be added to paints, primers, etc. that could affect the PVC. Installers must consult with the paint manufacturer’s technical department for their specific recommendations on priming and painting PVC. Follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations for paint application. Make sure Ross PVC Trim is clean and dry before painting.
Warranty Claims
All claims should be directed to a Ross Representative (info @ rossmfg.com).
DO NOT REMOVE the Ross Building Products product, removal will immediately void warranty. Ross will coordinate an inspection of the product complaint once the customer has approval from builder or home owner for access to the property. Proper documentation of purchase from a distributor must be provided to Ross. Once inspection is complete, Ross will determine resolution to complaint.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
